L’école du Baoum* has been both our place of residence to me, Julien Valentin and Florian Clavel, an art gallery, a place of intense partying and also a space which extend its size from 100 m2 to 1 km2 when we open the doors.
Each month, we organized a new exhibition. Thus, people as diverse as Michel Cornu, Tom de Pékin, the Vizille High School students, The Art Guys or Pascal Lièvre presented their work in l’école du Baoum*...
Each month, we showed our soap opera performance, Passione, which took place in the current exhibition.
And then there have been more specific events, such as KunstBaoum! ™ or The Interior Sports Olympics.
Artistic or not was never really the issue.
Each event must contain a dose of fun, which makes us continue the adventure.
L’école du Baoum* was supposed to be an artistic school of thought, it was rather a melting pot of artists, street people, anarchists, bobos, nerds, traders ...
All under the sign of happiness and good humor made in Baoum.
